The State of the UK Climate 2022 report examines how the UK’s climate last year compares to previous years, including information on notable meteorological extremes, how the UK extremes of temperature are changing compared with the average temperature, and the climate drivers behind the UK’s record warm year of 2022.
The paper was published in the Royal Meteorological Society’s International Journal of Climatology on Thursday 27 July.
