Latest results from the REACT-1 study on COVID-19 prevalence across England

The REACT-1 team from Imperial College London has now completed round 18 of their study.

This batch of data includes around 95,000 swabs collected between 8 February and 1 March 2022.

The study will look at prevalence of infection across different regions and demographics in England, and will provide an estimate of R.  It will also provide sequencing information and prevalence of variants.

Please note this data will be a preprint, so it is early work that has not yet been through peer-review and is not published in a journal.

Speakers included:

Prof Paul Elliott, FMedSci, Director of the REACT programme, and Chair in Epidemiology and Public Health Medicine, Imperial College London

Prof Christl Donnelly, WHO Collaborating Centre for Infectious Disease Modelling, MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis, Jameel Institute, Imperial College London; and Department of Statistics, University of Oxford
