rare syndrome in children associated with COVID-19 – what do we know?

Current evidence suggests that most children who have a COVID-19 infection are asymptomatic or have only mild symptoms. However, recently a very small number of children have been identified in the UK who developed a significant multi-system inflammatory response which appears to be associated with COVID-19. Journalists joined us remotely to hear from four experts discussing what we currently understand about this rare syndrome and to get their questions answered.

This was a background briefing with no new research presented, held jointly with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
