Researchers working with the military have been monitoring the mental health of current and former personnel in a long-running cohort. This most recent assessment comes 8 years since the last and compares how things have changed. The research, being published in the British Journal of Psychiatry, includes over 8,000 people and for the first time is able to look separately at veterans versus serving personnel.
