Brain Prize 2017 – announcement of winners

Three neuroscientists from UK institutions were awarded the world’s most valuable prize for brain research. The Brain Prize is awarded by the Lundbeck Foundation in Denmark and is worth one million Euros.  Awarded annually, it recognises one or more scientists who have made an outstanding contribution to neuroscience.

Prof Wolfram Schultz, Professor of Neuroscience, Cambridge University (German)

Prof. Peter Dayan, Director of the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit, UCL (British)

Prof. Ray Dolan, Director of the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging, UCL (Irish)
