Behind the scenes at the Games is an incredible array of engineering and technology, creating a world class environment of construction, infrastructure, transport, hospitality, tourism and more.

The Olympic Park is a showcase of cutting edge technology, and once the Games are over, it is hoped the park will be transformed into a beautiful park and a place to live in the heart of London. Once again, engineers will be called upon to turn the plans into a reality. The SMC invited in five of the engineers heavily involved in all aspects of engineering the Olympics to lift the lid on their work.
